Few people know that apart from the television series there was also an Inspector Morse play that toured the UK in 2011. The accompanying theatre programme to House of Ghosts which starred Colin Baker as Inspector Morse was excellent. Not only was the cover striking along with the usual biographies of those involved, but there was a very well written piece entitled A Man Called Morse and even a special crossword by Codex dedicated to D.I. Morse and D.S. Lewis.
Not only will this become a collector’s item, but in addition exclusive to the Inspector Morse Society each copy has been personally signed in white pen on the front cover by Colin Dexter himself.
