Description
A monster is loose in the normally quiet Essex town of Chilford – a fiend who had already not only murdered, but mutilated three of the town’s inhabitants in the bloody style of the infamous Jack the Ripper for no apparent reason. Upon arriving in the picturesque country village, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson find that a fourth brutal slaying has taken place … and that Inspector Lestrade of Scotland Yard, already on the scene, is clearly baffled!
In this previously unreleased account, Watson – Holmes’s loyal companion and faithful Boswell – chronicles one of the master detective’s greatest feats of detection, as he quickly unravels a crime whose implications involve not only Chilford, but the highest levels of the British government as well.
